Not quite like the huge party the last time I was in Vegas (for Misha and Heather's wedding), but it was a nice time. Aaron's mom was in Vegas all week for a nursing conference, so we popped down for the weekend to visit with her and mess around a bit. Despite spending a good portion of my week flat on my back in bed with The Plague, I've managed to get half of my X-Mas shopping done. Baking, on the other hand, will have to wait until I'm feeling better. So will the other stuff I was planning on making this week.

Yesterday I managed to drink several mouthfuls of orange juice, which the boy was wonderful enough to go out and get for me at nearly midnight the night before, and then wasn't up to drinking when he got back with it. dunno if it's food poisoning or that stomach flu that's going around, but it sucks

...I think I might get a flu shot tomorrow. I've never gotten one before. They're doing them on campus tomorrow, and since I get my butt kicked with the FLU OF DOOM every winter it seems like a good idea. Let's see if I manage to escape the shop for a bit and head over before they stop administering them at 2:00.

Cold again in my shop. I'm wearing cute grey and black striped fingerless gloves, though, which makes it both warmer and more stylish in here. :)

I'm finally getting to the point where I can eat real food again. Today is the first day in a week and a half that I don't feel "delicate". Yay! I went to luch with yatzabella yesterday and ate Italian food ( Read more... )
